Executive Presence for Scientists provides scientific leaders with critical competencies to communicate their ideas with clarity, confidence, and strategic impact. Specifically, the course will focus on enhancing speaker’s use of presence, voice, visuals, and non-verbal techniques to strengthen their message and build their credibility and influence with both technical and non-technical audiences. It will also refine speaker’s
capabilities in navigating questions, disagreements, and challenging conversations.

The goal is not to turn scientists into executives. Rather, it is to help scientists translate their expertise into influence — so that their research and ideas are heard, their judgment is trusted, and they are recognized as leaders who not only have critical insights into their area science but also into the potential business impact of their recommendations.
